Artscapade

One of the highlights of Welcome Week, Artscapade! introduces first-year UM students to the lively arts scene at the University of Michigan. About 4,000 students attended this year’s celebration, which is typically held inside and on the grounds of the Museum of Art but this year was held on the front and side lawns of the Michigan Union since the Museum is currently closed for restoration and expansion. Artscapade!, which features art-making, music, dance, and games, is copresented with Arts at Michigan and cosponsored by the University of Michigan Credit Union.
