    Class Visits and Tours

Docent-led public tours of current exhibitions are offered several times a month, usually on Thursday evenings at 7 pm and Sunday afternoons at 2 pm. Additional tours, as well as curator’s talks and other programs, are also available so please check current listings for details. Tours are free of charge, are available on a drop-in basis, and last between 45 and 60 minutes. View Program Calendar.

Adult groups of 10 or more are invited to schedule a guided tour. Advance notice is required; three weeks notice is recommended. Please contact Debbie Swartz at dgswartz@umich.edu or call 734.647.0522 to make a reservation.

The UM Museum of Art invites classes to visit our collections galleries and temporary exhibitions. Faculty, instructors, and K-12 classroom teachers are asked to schedule guided tours at least three weeks in advance by contacting Debbie Swartz at dgswartz@umich.edu or calling 734.647.0522. Self-guided groups are also welcome but are required to schedule in advance to ensure a good experience for all.
