For Students Visiting

Tours and Class Visits

Lively and engaging conversation and active looking are features of UMMA public tours. Docent-led tours of current exhibitions and the permanent collection galleries are offered regularly. Curator and artist talks and other programs are also available, so please check current program and tour listings for details. Tours are free of charge, are available on a drop-in basis, and last between 45 and 60 minutes. View Program Calendar.

Adult groups of 10 or more are invited to select from a menu of special guided tours. In addition to the collections-based tours, architecture tours highlighting the story of the Museum's recent transformation as well as its history are available. Advance notice of three weeks is recommended. Please note we ask for a donation of $25 per docent for the docent program.
