The Mark Webster Reading Series: Marne Litfin, A. Shaikh (poet)

All readings will be available to watch simultaneously via Zoom: tinyurl.com/WebsterSeries

The Mark Webster Reading Series presents emerging writers in a warm and relaxed setting. MFA second-year students in fiction and poetry, each introduced by a peer, will share a sample of their work. Friends, family, and members of the Ann Arbor community are welcome to attend the readings both in-person and synchronously on Zoom.

Marne Litfin writes, draws, and tells jokes. Their work has been published or is forthcoming at The Rumpus, The Moth Radio Hour, Passages North, and Hobart, where they have a monthly comics column.

A. Shaikh is an immigrant poet raised in the heat of Texas. You can find their poems in Underblong, EX/POST, Sundog Lit, and elsewhere. Their internet thoughts reside @apricotpoet and they love black cats.

Organized by the MFA in Creative Writing Program and presented in partnership with the University of Michigan Museum of Art. For questions or accommodation needs, contact co-hosts Jen Galvao (jgalvao@umich.edu) or Urvi Kumbhat (urvik@umich.edu).
