Depending on the time of your visit, the UMMA Shop will be open. Please visit to shop our collection.

Sunday - Thursday 11am to 5pm
Friday - Saturday 11am to 8pm

Mon - Fri — 8am to 5pm
Sat & Sun — 11am to 5pm
No. Food and beverage are not allowed in UMMA galleries and you will be asked to consume or discard any food or beverage items before entering the Museum.
All of UMMA’s public areas and galleries are wheelchair accessible. Wheelchairs are available for free on a first-come, first-served basis. Please ask your check-in host for assistance borrowing a wheelchair upon arrival.
There is metered street parking around the Museum, which is in a walkable neighborhood with restaurants and shopping nearby. Two municipal structures are approximately two blocks away:
Maynard Parking Structure
324 Maynard Street
On Maynard Street between E. Liberty & E. William
Forest Avenue Structure
650 South Forest Avenue
On the corner of South Forest Avenue and Willard Street one half block south of South University Avenue

University of Michigan employees with a UM parking permit will find the Thompson Street structure the closest to the Museum, with the Hill Street, Thayer Street, and Forest Avenue structures all within walking distance. Please note that many University parking structures are free and open to the public after 6 pm each day.
